Starting with children, we transform families from lives of poverty, through our ministries, housing and programs. DCP, a faith-based not-for-profit located in the heart of the city, reaches more than 25,000 people a year in many ways, with hundreds of volunteers serving to unite a community.

Hamilton Boulevard stands ever ready to meet fundamental needs of the community via Hope Store, Backpack Peoria and mobile ministries.

Glendale Avenue Level

Glendale Avenue beckons as the gateway to hope as Peoria’s only 24/7 emergency shelter for women, children, fathering dads and families, serving thousands yearly. It also serves as an exit out of poverty. Ninety seven percent never go back to homelessness after leaving one of our twenty one apartments in The Village.
